Team Losi Micro Info
All the info for your Losi micro's!

Welcome

As a recent and current Losi micro owner, I have decided to start the "Losi Micro Info" site. Some of the information on this site is either pulled from Losi.com or another site officiated with Losi. Therefor I accept no responsibility for that information or take no credit. All other information is either property of me or came off the MicroTForum website.

For the price, the Losi micro is hard to turn down. It's small unique scale and feature's is just amazing. When you first look for which specific Losi micro you want, most people will go toward's the one that mostly catches their eye. Not saying that it is a bad thing, but if you are wanting to get the most out of your Losi micro and may be big on certain area's of what you would like to get out of them. Than you are at the right place. To the left you will notice my top 3 going in order, one being top, of which Losi micro I would consider being the best as far as durability, handling, speed, etc. Of course the Losi Micro-Rock Crawler will not be apart of this, as this is not a full out running truck, but yet a slow runner which was built to crawl and climb over obstacles.

My first impression of the Losi micro was quite surprising. I was excited to walk out the store with one and could not wait to get home and get it running. Of course than the Micro-T was the only micro on the shelf. Which model's later and also bodies later, is when the most impressive performance upgrade's, wheel's, hop-ups, etc were released. When i opened the box and pulled the little guy out, I was totally shocked at how small it was and immediately took the wrapping off the batteries for the charger and the controller and got them installed. After about 15 minute's of charge time, I was finally able to get this thing running. After the first run, I noticed the shock's were defiantly not the best and needed the be stiffened up as the rear sagged quiet a bit. That was a simple fix, a zip tie wrapped around the shock body and was good to go. The speed's these little micro's get are quiet surprising. The handling is great out the box stock on certain surfaces, mainly a surface where the tire's could hook up. After my first ever run with a Losi micro, I was officially hooked and pretty excited there has come many more to the market today. This is what has made the micro hobby what it is and which is what had gained so much interest. Another reason why this site was put forth for you to check out and get a feel of what you will be getting yourself or your kid's into. The micro's are 100% RTR out of the box, but to me I would say 90% ready. I say that because they do not come with threaded axle's, so cleaning hair out of the axles require removing very tiny e-clips. It was something that I could only do once and that was to remove them to install threaded axle's, which I highly recommend as a first upgrade which you will find on the site which I have listed for you. Note that the Micro Raminator does come with these threaded axle's, not to sure why this is the only one that has, but hopefully one day they will begin to come stock. Another thing, was that there were no wheel bearing's stock. Another very simple, but yet efficient upgrade. After I got my first upgrade's installed and back running again, I noticed longer runtime's and a lot cooler motor temperature's, which is a very good thing. There was not really anything that I found that I did not like about them out of the box and I would recommend a Losi micro to a friend and anyone I seen at the hobby shop holding the box of one.

So with most of this mainly as an intro to the site, please take your time to look around and get to know some thing's before looking into purchasing one of these little guy's. If you do come across any problem's or searching for help, please check out the largest Losi Micro forum on the internet at MicroTForum.com. Thanks for visiting and I hope I have put enough information out there for you all to enjoy. We all (micro owner's) look forward to seeing new Losi micro owner's out there. Hope to see you around some day. Enjoy!
